Planned Giving
Planned giving allows you to make a meaningful, lasting gift to Torch—often in ways that may not be possible during your lifetime alone. By including the Torch Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, in your will or estate plan, you help ensure that clubs thrive, new clubs are launched, and future generations discover the joy of Torch. We welcome a conversation with you and your advisors to explore options that align with your goals.
Ways To Make A Planned Gift

Bequest in Your Will or Trust
Name the Torch Foundation as a beneficiary of a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or the remainder after other obligations are met.

Designating the Torch Foundation as a beneficiary of retirement assets can be a tax-savvy way to give. Other heirs may receive different assets that can carry a lighter tax burden. Beneficiary Designation

Recognizing Your Legacy
When you share your plans for a legacy gift, it gives the Foundation a deeper understanding of your intentions and allows us to express our gratitude in a meaningful way. Knowing about these commitments also helps us prepare for the future and encourages others to explore the possibility of planned giving themselves. With your permission, we may recognize your generosity on our Tribute Wall, in Foundation communications or establishing a named fund as a way to honor your impact. If you would rather remain anonymous, we will respect that preference completely.
Sample Bequest Language
You can share the following sample language with your attorney when preparing your will or trust:
“I give to The Torch Foundation (Tax ID No. 158-96-0016), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the sum of [$___ / ___% of my estate / the residue of my estate] to be used for its general charitable purposes.”
Your attorney can tailor this wording to reflect your intentions, including any specific designations or endowment goals.
